About the group

The Decolonial Working Group is an open, transdisciplinary community of practice at TU Delft that brings together researchers, lecturers, students, Indigenous and local knowledge holders, artists, and civil-society and community partners discussing the coloniality of engineering and the possibilities of decolonial futures. Since its formation in 2022, it has worked across faculties to question coloniality in technology, design, engineering, entrepreneurship, and climate governance, and to build pluriversal alternatives.

The group convenes public events, screenings, workshops, courses, and co-creation processes in which communities participate not as research subjects but as knowledge leaders, advancing knowledge production that is relational, reciprocal, and non-extractive.
